How do I measure my kitesurf jump height?
With the KiteJump watch app on a Garmin watch, with a session already recorded in Garmin Connect, Surfr or WOO, or to the centimetre with the KiteJump sensor (GNSS or RTK). KiteJump shows every jump with height, airtime and distance, on the map and as a 3D flight path.
Can I bring my Surfr and WOO sessions?
Yes. Upload the session's FIT file: Surfr recordings from your Garmin watch and WOO sessions recorded via Garmin. KiteJump takes over the jumps and shows them with map, 3D flight path, logbook and leaderboards.
How accurate is the jump height?
Watches estimate the height from their built-in sensors. The KiteJump sensor measures the flight path by satellite, to about 3 cm with RTK correction.
Which devices does KiteJump run on?
As an Android app, in the browser (iPhone too) and as a watch app on Garmin watches with Connect IQ. There is no Apple Watch or Wear OS app yet.
How much does KiteJump cost?
App and website are free and without ads. The sensor is expected for the 2027 season, guide price approx. €200 (GNSS) or €300 (RTK); pre-ordering is free.
